Whitney Biennial

Deutsche Bank is proud to once again sponsor the preeminent survey of contemporary American art, which this year presents three distinct curatorial voices.

This is the 77th in the ongoing series of Biennials and Annuals presented by the Whitney since 1932, two years after the Museum was founded, and the fifth consecutive Biennial sponsored by the Bank. This year’s Biennial is being overseen by three different outside curators—one for each floor: Stuart Comer (Chief Curator of Media and Performance Art at MoMA), Anthony Elms (Associate Curator at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia), and Michelle Grabner (artist and Professor in the Painting and Drawing Department at the School of the Art Institute, Chicago). The show, which features works by more than 100 artists, explores the trio’s contrasting perspectives and curatorial methodologies.

Deutsche Bank employees, and up to three guests, receive free entry to the Whitney with Bank ID.
